  1. Sucks that Coughlin has to deal with a horrible roster given to him by Jerry Reese. By looking at the draft results from 2008-12, only 7 of the 38 players the Giants drafted over those five years are currently on the roster, including JPP (missing finger) and Will Beatty (starting on the PUP). Giants have only one player left from each of the 2009, 2010, and 2011 drafts. The Giants talent has been eroding for some time. It should be Reese who gets fired but I have a feeling that both will be gone if the Giants don’t make the playoffs again.

    • True. Coughlin has lost his fastball as a coach. However, their talent evaluation lately has not been good. That’s the biggest problem. Missing the playoffs five of the last six seasons means somebody is screwing something up.
