The NFL is pulling out all the stops for Super Bowl 50.
Their latest ad campaign centers on “Super Bowl Babies.” A four-minute songĀ featuring Seal celebrates kids who were likely conceived the night their favorite team won the Super Bowl.
The commercial tweaked the lyrics from Seal’s hit song, Kiss from a Rose.
The “kids” used are from numerous years including 1967 (Packers), 1976 (Steelers), 1989 (49ers), 1993-94 (Cowboys), 2007 (Colts), and 2008 (Giants).
Plus, I love the basic assumption that all of these kids were universally conceived by married couples.
When in doubt, the NFL went to that tried and true concept…sex sells.
