Last season, EA Sports nailed their Super Bowl XLIX prediction by stating that the New England Patriots would defeat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 on a game-winning touchdown catch by Julian Edelman.
Of course, no one saw the Malcolm Butler play coming but an effective prediction nonetheless.
Yesterday, EA Sports released their official Super Bowl prediction. This time around, it favors the NFC and the Carolina Panthers.
According to the simulation, the Panthers will win 24-20 on a late touchdown run by Cam Newton after squandering a 17-0 first half lead.
EA Sports is 9-3 in Super Bowl predictions over the last 12 games.
