The Atlanta Falcons are headed to the Super Bowl for the second time in franchise history after topping the Green Bay Packers 44-21 in the NFC Championship game on Sunday.
The host Falcons greeted Aaron Rodgers and the Packers rudely into the final game ever at the Georgia Dome. Atlanta jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first half and never looked back.
Atlanta’s Matt Ryan torched Green Bay for 392 yards passing; while receiver Julio Jones played through a foot injury to haul in 180 yards.
Atlanta plays the winner of Pittsburgh-New England in Houston at Super Bowl LI on February 5.
P.S. Matt Ryan is going to win MVP. Book it.
