FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer reported that the FBI & NFL security teamed up to find Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl LI jersey, which went missing immediately following New England’s historic triumph over the Atlanta Falcons last month.
As it turns out, not only did they find his Super Bowl LI jersey but also another famous Brady artifact…his Super Bowl XLIX jersey. Both were stolen by a credentialed member of the international member.
The reason for the FBI’s involvement is due to both jerseys being discovered in foreign land.
NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy tweeted on Monday morning to confirm the situation and stated additional questioning should be directed to the FBI.
How in the world did a credentialed media member steal two of most notable jerseys in NFL history?
I can’t even get credentialed to use the NFL Media website and they have someone roll up in there and steal Brady’s Super Bowl jerseys?
Who are they credentialing for Super Bowls?
Unacceptable.
However, this brings up a couple of points.
Did someone create a website or media outlet internationally just to steal important jerseys?
Or is there media outlet hiring awful people?
Inquiring minds want to know. Anyhow, the jerseys are on their way back to the only quarterback in NFL history to win five Super Bowls.
