While we are still in the throws of training camp and are about a week away from slightly meaningful football (the Hall of Fame game on Thursday doesn’t count), any nibble we can get of September is greatly appreciated.
For example, during Wednesday’s practice session, Carolina Panthers rookie running back Christian McCaffrey had an opportunity to go 1-on-1 with linebacker extraordinaire Luke Kuechly in the open field.
It didn’t turn out well for the former All-Pro backer:
If the Panthers want to get back to their glory of two seasons ago, they’ll need McCaffrey to do more of that against opposing defenders.
Even though it’s only a training camp practice, McCaffrey’s moves could be a good sign of things to come for the Panthers.
