Tom Brady made more NFL history during New England’s 38-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night.
After nearly squandering a 21-point lead, the Patriots were in search of a second-half score. Enter Brady and new Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon, who teamed up for TB12’s 500th career touchdown pass to extend the New England lead to 31-17.
Brady becomes the third player in league history with at least 500 touchdown passes – joining Peyton Manning and Brett Favre. There will be a fourth later this season when Drew Brees joins the party.
Bob Socci and Scott Zolak had the Patriots radio call of Brady’s 500th touchdown pass. The best part of the clip is Zolak calling the play and/or Gordon “sexy.”
Hilarious. Anyhow, the Patriots are back in action in two Sundays from now in a huge Sunday Night Football game between the Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs.
