San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle had quite the time at WWE’s SmackDown Live on Tuesday in San Francisco in the brand new Chase Center as the Niners began to enjoy their Week 4 bye.
Teammates Jimmy Garoppolo, Garrett Celek, Dante Pettis, and Trent Taylor joined Kittle for SmackDown Live’s final broadcast on USA before the program moves to FOX on Friday, October 4.
Kittle, who recently got a shoutout from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is a huge WWE fan and does not hide it. He attended Tuesday night’s show with his own replica WWE title wearing a t-shirt paying tribute to The Rock.
Besides his closeup with his teammates during the show, he also got a chance to celebrate with The New Day. – WWE’s resident clown princes:
Not only did he bump and grind away with The New Day, he managed to squeeze in some additional camera time…
Also, he managed to make it backstage to meet some WWE personalties….
…and even cut a promo channeling The Rock.
Things are going swimmingly well for the unbeaten 49ers, who return to action in Week 5 to host the struggling Cleveland Browns.
They better be careful though. More appearances like Tuesday night and Kittle will be ready to hop into a ring sooner rather than later. Now that Rob Gronkowski has retired, America needs a tight end that they can live vicariously through.
Thank you George for helping to fill that void.
