Following Monday night’s events in Santa Clara that saw the previously unbeaten San Francisco 49ers lose in overtime to the Seattle Seahawks, the NFL announced a notable change to the Niners schedule in Week 12.

The NFL flexed the Week 12 matchup between the visiting Green Bay Packers and 49ers into Sunday Night Football.

After San Francisco’s loss on Monday night, the Packers trail for the 49ers by a half-game in the race for the NFC’s top seed.

As a result of the league’s decision to move Packers-49ers, the previously scheduled Seattle Seahawks/Philadelphia Eagles meeting will now take place on Sunday afternoon at 1pm during Week 12 action.
