According to TMZ Sports, a 39-year-old woman is being held on kidnapping and burglary charges after allegedly attempting to kidnap the grandchild of Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana and his wife, Jennifer, on Saturday.

The TMZ Sports report states a woman entered through an unlocked door at a house where the Montanas where staying on Saturday and took the grandchild out of someone’s hands to enter a nearby room. Joe and Jennifer Montana tracked down the woman and reclaimed the child.

After the invader quickly left, she was nabbed by Los Angeles police and later booked on kidnapping and burglary charges.

The identity of the alleged kidnapper and the motives remain unclear.
