Remember when quarterbacks were compared to Dan Marino? If so, those days are all but kaput thanks to the NFL’s movement to make this a pass-first league and of course, a collection of supremely talented quarterbacks.

During Sunday’s Saints/Panthers game, Cam Newton and Steve Smith connected on a 54-yard touchdown catch. Unhappy with Smith in general, Saints safety Roman Harper took a run at the Carolina receiver in the end zone; blasting him in the process.
