During Sunday’s NFL Gameday Morning, Rich Eisen and company talked about the recent woes of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The segment concluded with former Eagles adversaries Warren Sapp and Marshall Faulk beating up on an Eagles piñata aptly named “Rocky”.
Both ran down what they felt was wrong with the squad before serving up powerful swings on poor, hapless Rocky.
Sapp, who is universally loathed by Eagles fans in part due to being a member of the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, took a pair of Nelson Cruz-like cuts that eventually destroyed Rocky.
As he was known to do as a player, Sapp followed it up by talking trash and dancing. Clearly, he thought it was 2002 all over again.
You know a team is lousy when television analysts bring a piñata on-set to beat the crap out of it.
