Drew Brees Hangs Out With One Direction; Infuriates Terry Bradshaw

October means football, the start of the NBA season, and of course, the MLB postseason.

Well, you can add Drew Brees “singing” with boy-band One Direction to the list of October attractions.

Brees shot an upcoming Pepsi commercial with the band that will be shown throughout the MLB playoffs.

During the spot, Brees and One Direction argue about their success before chaos ensues with the Super Bowl XLIV MVP eventually crooning with the group.

Meanwhile, one person who is not likely to be on the Brees Christmas card list is none other than Hall of Fame quarterback and FOX analyst Terry Bradshaw.

Last Sunday night versus San Diego, Brees set an NFL record by throwing a touchdown pass in 48 consecutive games.

According to Bradshaw, while records are all sunshine and butterflies, inviting Sean Payton, your suspended head coach, and company for the special occasion is not so peachy.

Bradshaw expressed himself during an interview on New York sports talk station WFAN:

“I was a little upset that he went to the NFL to get Payton and everybody back to watch him break a record,” Bradshaw said. “I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ I never would have gone and asked for them back … I thought it was disrespectful to the San Diego Chargers… So break it, go ahead. Hell, you’re throwing it 50 times a game … I’m just against stuff like that. I just don’t believe in doing stuff like that.”

Also, Bradshaw stated that he wasn’t into records but “into winning Super Bowls.”

I’m sure Brees meant well but Bradshaw’s point might have some merit.

The Saints looooove to break records…opponents feelings be damned.
