New England Patriots

Report: Rob Gronkowski Out 4-6 Weeks With A Broken Arm

New England’s 59-24 win wasn’t all sunshine and daisies. It appears it will come at a price.

As the Patriots applied an extra point following their last touchdown of the evening, tight end Rob Gronkowski broke his forearm according to Tom Curran of Boston.com.

Gronkowski was in on the extra point play when the injury occurred and as a result, the Patriots will be without arguably its best receiver for 4-6 weeks.

The Patriots are already without tight end Aaron Hernandez, who is still recovering from an ankle injury.

Gronkowski returned from a high ankle sprain in two weeks to play in the Super Bowl last February. Unfortunately for the Pats, he clearly wasn’t the same player much to the delight of the eventual Super Bowl champion Giants.

Don’t be surprised if beats the 4-6 week timetable. Yet, it appears life without Gronk will begin for Tom Brady and the Patriots.
