Steve Smith Tells Panthers To “Mow His Lawn”

If we know anything about Steve Smith, it’s that the former Carolina Panthers receiver doesn’t mind getting loose with players and teams when it comes to on-the-field matters.

Smith was at his best on Sunday during Baltimore’s 38-10 beatdown of Carolina. During the contest, Smith grabbed a pair of touchdowns and managed to get in some solid trash-talking to boot.

He told the Panthers to “mow his lawn” and “keep it clean” for him as the Ravens were on their way to victory last week.

Incredibly, no player in NFL history has been better suited attitudinally for a team than Smith for the Ravens.

It’s a perfect marriage. The only thing missing is a time machine so we bring Smith back to the salad days of the Ray Lewis era in Baltimore.
