The Arizona Cardinals tried to turn lemons into lemonade against the Carolina Panthers on Saturday evening but were dragged down by one of the worst quarterback efforts in postseason history during a 27-16 loss.
While Ryan Lindley authored an incredibly woeful effort (16 of 28, 82 yards, TD, 2 INT), the father of Cardinals backup quarterback Logan Thomas fumed on Twitter:
You can’t blame Eddie Thomas for being upset. His son couldn’t even supplant the dreadful Lindley, who will be remembered for quarterbacking the 2014 NFL equivalent of the Titanic.
Arizona’s 77 total yards is the fewest amount gained by a team in NFL postseason history.
