Coming Attraction: NFC Divisional Live Blog – Cowboys At Packers: Cousin Of The Ice Bowl

These days it’s not easy to metaphorically shake hands with a 48-year old piece of NFL history but that’s what will happen on Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in a playoff game for the first time since the legendary “Ice Bowl” (aka the 1967 NFL Championship Game).

Dallas and Green Bay have crossed paths in the playoffs four times since their ’67 title game but this one is vastly different.

The high temperature on Sunday in Green Bay will be 19 degrees with a low of 4.

Oh, and Aaron Rodgers may be compromised by a calf injury. Between that and Chris Christie’s magical orange sweater (if he shows), this game should be a riot.
