What a dreadful last 24 hours (and 51 years for that matter) for Cleveland sports.

The Cleveland Cavaliers saw their hopes of winning an NBA title go up in smoke after losing to the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 on Tuesday night.

Wednesday saw embattled Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel hop into the spotlight. Manziel told reporters that he was done with using his famous money sign on the field during a media session.

His signature money sign was not received well by numerous NFL players and mocked in Manziel’s brief on-field stints last season…even by Michael Sam.

Of course, on cue the internet reacted to Manziel’s decree with the appropriate snark by showing the quarterback hoisting the money sign set to Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You”.

Manziel is trying to turn over a new leaf. However, a bigger problem looms for the second-year quarterback. He hasn’t mastered the whole NFL quarterback thing.
