The Patriots & Colts Radio Calls On Failed Fake Punt Were As Confusing As Play Itself

PatriotsColtsPuntIndianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is going to be the talk of America on Monday morning and beyond for quite sometime after his ill-timed fake punt call on Sunday night against the New England Patriots.

While Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth were confused on television, both Indy’s and New England’s radio teams had little idea what the Colts were trying to do.

First up, we have Colts radio play-by-play man Bob Lamey. He openly wished for a delay of game penalty instead of an actual snap. After the Colts decided to run the play, Lamey was in utter shock.

Meanwhile, the Patriots radio crew of Bob Socci and Scott Zolak was even more apoplectic over the Pagano’s decision. In fact, Zolak quipped at the end that “this isn’t Western Illinois” and “that gets you fired.”

Amen, Scott.
