Miami and Denver engaged in one of the season’s most laborious, boring, and oddly relevant games of the NFL season on Sunday that concluded with Tim Tebow’s Broncos staging an 18-15 comeback win overtime.
The Broncos trailed 15-0 with just over five minutes remaining in the game but Tebow, who played dreadfully for 55 minutes of action, put together a 15-point rally keyed by an onside kick recovery.
Tebow’s two touchdown passes sandwiched an onside kick recovery that put Denver in position to tie the game. Following Tebow’s touchdown pass to Daniel Fells that trimmed the deficit to two with 17 seconds left, the former Florida Gator converted a two-point conversion on a quarterback draw to tie the game.
After starting 4 of 14 at one point, Tebow finished 13 for 27 with 161 yards and 65 yards rushing. Make no mistake; Tebow was awful for much of this game as Twitter universe noticed:

His brutal performance early will further amplify his heroic game-saving stand in the fourth quarter. Alas, on Gators Day in Miami, one of the greatest Gators of all-time saved Denver’s bacon.
In the process, the 2-4 Broncos took a rather important step out of the potential Andrew Luck sweepstakes with the win. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are firmly entrenched (and rightfully so) in it and remain winless on the season.

Enjoyed your article. Tebow really struggled in that game. It was incredible how he was able to turn it around.
This game would have made a great movie. Would have had the people cheering in the aisles!!
Nice Post!
