The Eagles and Cowboys resume their rivalry this evening at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday Night Football.

During halftime of tonight’s contest, the Eagles will induct the late Jim Johnson and former cornerback Eric Allen into the team’s Honor Roll.

Allen, one of the mainstays of the Buddy Ryan regime, is arguably the greatest cornerback in team history and evidently, one of the wisest as well.

The Ryan Eagles did a lot of great things. The 1988 “Buddy’s Watchin’ You” music video was not one of them.

Anyhow, we’ll discuss this, Nelson Cruz, Ron Washington, and other Dallas/Philadelphia related things during the live blog tonight.

Should be a real hoot.
