America doesn’t hate Tom Brady that much.
The NFL released its jersey sales numbers for May on Wednesday and it displayed some interesting information.
Embattled New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s jersey finished third in sales in May despite his four-game suspension coming down last month. Brady’s jersey stood behind only Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston in sales.
Seattle’s Russell Wilson and Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. rounded out the top five. Elsewhere, Brady’s teammate Rob Gronkowski was sixth, giving New England the only team that placed two players in the top 10.
In the days that followed Brady’s suspension announcement, his jersey sales shot through the roof. Even though he is listed as one of America’s least trusted celebrities, folks can’t stop buying his gear.
