As a point of reference, WWE held its King of the Ring pay-per-view in Pittsburgh back in June 1998. One of the main events featured Mankind (aka Dude Love, Mick Foley) taking on the Undertaker in a “Hell in the Cell” match.
During the encounter, Taker tossed Mankind off the top of the cage onto a ringside table in one of the most shocking moments in sports entertainment history.
Today, Goodell and Brady engaged in their first face-to-face standoff regarding Deflategate. Brady was in New York to appeal his four-game suspension for being “generally aware” of a plot to deflate footballs during January’s AFC title game; and being uncooperative during Ted Wells’ investigation.
Depending on the outcome, we could be in for a long battle between the two sides.
I’d imagine by the end it may look something like this…
Ever wonder how entertaining it would be to see Roger Goodell and Tom Brady in a similar duel on top of a cage?
Of course you have.
Thanks to the wonders of Vine, it is a reality.
Sorry Rog.
