Either The Shield™ was super busy sifting through the Deflategate wreckage or they really liked the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show because they are set to tap Bruno Mars to perform on Super Sunday again.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the NFL has asked for Mars to return as the Super Bowl 50 halftime act. Mars performed at the half of Seattle’s evisceration of the Denver Broncos over 18 months ago.
The crooner’s 2014 performance set a record for the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show ever before Katy Perry topped the mark last February in Arizona.
Thus far, Mars and his camp have not accepted the NFL’s invitation.
