Drew Brees made history on Monday night by eclipsing Peyton Manning and Brett Favre to become the NFL’s all-time passing yardage king.
Brees shredded the Washington Redskins for 26 of 29 passing for 363 yards and three touchdown passes. His 62-yarder to Tre’Quan Smith put him over the top and past Manning as the NFL’s passing yardage leader.
Play-by-play man and retired Saints offensive lineman Zach Strief and former Saints running back Deuce McAllister had the call for Saints radio.
Shoutout to McAllister for calling out the referees on the excessive celebration penalty. It’s the worst excessive celebration call since the Patriots were flagged after the Malcolm Butler interception at the end of Super Bowl XLIX.
