After viewing Pittsburgh’s 25-17 victory over New England, its evident the 5-2 Patriots are suffering from numerous problems.
New England’s defense was shoved around by Pittsburgh all day. The 6-2 Steelers converted 10 of 16 third down chances, gained 427 yards of total offense, and held the ball for nearly 40 minutes.
The Patriots failed in all phases of the game. The offense was limited to just 213 yards; Bill Belichick did not challenge on an apparent fourth quarter Rob Gronkowski touchdown (after the game, he told reporters they couldn’t get the proper replay which is a common occurrence on the road); and kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed a field goal during the third quarter and came up woefully short on an on-side kick after the Patriots trimmed the deficit to 23-17.
Having said all of that, how fly is Tom Brady’s look in the postgame press conference?
Fall is here and he rocks a gray wool suit with a vest. At least the Patriots are dressed properly despite getting dragged up and down the field by the Steelers yesterday.
