It has been a rough 24 hours for the New Orleans Saints.
First, the team’s bus was egged on the tarmac of the Atlanta airport last night upon the Saints arriving into town.
Thursday night saw the Saints lose 23-13 to the Falcons and as a result, a potential postseason run for New Orleans is in danger.
Historically, the night’s most relevant point came via Drew Brees, who saw his NFL-record 54-game streak with at least one touchdown pass come to a halt.
Atlanta’s defense intercepted Brees five times on the night en route to taking a step closer to winning the NFC South.
As for the Brees record coming to an end, it’s not as safe as you might think.
An ominous figure is lurking in the shadows, just 11 games short of tying the Super Bowl XLIV MVP’s record-breaking mark.
Who you ask?
You know who it is.
