Coldplay will be the headline halftime act at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara as announced by Jim Nantz of CBS during halftime of the Green Bay/Detroit Thursday night game. Also, early reports suggest that others will be joining Coldplay as a part of the extravaganza.
Previously, Bruno Mars and Maroon 5 were linked to being potential Super Bowl 50 halftime performers.
Instead of Coldplay playing at halftime, how about after the game?
When the curtain draws to a close on the 2015 NFL season, I would like “The Scientist” to be played as CBS fades to black that night.
It’s one of the most depressing songs ever. However, it’s a song that would perfectly sum up this current wave of poor officiating, injuries, and mediocre play we’ve been treated to this season.
Here’s to The Scientist. I can only dream.
