The most famous alum in University of Northern Iowa history is the electrifying Kurt Warner.

Of course, Warner had plenty to cheer for on Friday night after Northern Iowa stunned Texas, 75-72, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on a buzzer-beater shot by Paul Jesperson.
